Although Zakopane, as with any other resort, is particularly attractive to tourists only at specific times of the year, it remains popular all the year round with the organisers of conferences, seminars, training courses, business and team-building meetings as well as trips to reward company members. This is hardly surprising. There are excellent facilities in Zakopane where serious matters of business can be addressed, but it is also possible, almost simultaneously, to rest and relax as the town adds its own unique charm to any conference proceedings.
The accommodation available in Zakopane has been developed significantly over the last few years. Many new hotels have been constructed from scratch but others have been developed by adapting the historical villas already in existence. All the proprietors have invested in providing their conference rooms with everything necessary for such events, including ultra-modern audio-visual equipment, and are able to cater for up to several hundred people. Most hotels have excellent recreation complexes with swimming pools, saunas and Spa centres, emphasising the fact that the inhabitants of Zakopane know how to take care of their guests. Exquisite meals and extensive menus for the conference participants are also available in many of the hotels.
It could be said that such facilities are also found elsewhere, but where else is it possible to walk along Krupówki or wander to the slopes of Wielka Krokiew after spending several hours at a conference table? In Zakopane during the winter months it is also possible to go skiing in the evenings on the flood-lit slopes, skate on an artificial ice-rink, take a horse-drawn sleigh ride, meet and talk with friends while enjoying lamb roasted over a fire and a pint of the local beer. Praktycznie każdy z nich dysponuje bogatym zapleczem rekreacyjnym z basenem, saunami i centrami spa. Zakopiańczycy umieją dbać o swoich gości. W wielu hotelach dla uczestników konferencji można zamówić wykwintne menu.
Takie atuty jak opisane powyżej może jednak zaproponować wiele miejscowości. Ale w żadnym z nich po kilku godzinach spędzonych przy konferencyjnym stole nie można wyjść na spacer na Krupówki, albo pod skocznię narciarską na Wielkiej Krokwi. W Zakopanem zimą można założyć narty i poszusować na pobliskim, oświetlonym stoku albo skorzystać ze sztucznego lodowiska, wybrać się na kulig, spotkać z przyjaciółmi przy upieczonym na ognisku jagnięciu i piwie. I w każdej chwili można zerknąć na majaczący w mroku szczyt Giewontu.

Zakopane erfreut sich wie jeder Kurort während der Saison des Interesses der Allgemeinheit. Die Stadt ist jedoch das ganze Jahr lang populär als Platz für die Veranstaltung von Konferenzen, Seminaren, Schulungen, Businesstreffen, Betriebsfeiern oder Motivationsveranstaltungen. Kein Wunder, in Zakopane kann man intensiv arbeiten, aber sich auch gleichzeitig ausgezeichnet erholen, denn die Stadt kann die hervorragende Konferenzinfrastruktur mit ihrem einmaligen Reiz bereichern.
